Tinyumbrella updated with the support for iOS 6.0, iOS 6.0.1 iPad mini iPad 4

The popular SHSH blob-saver TinyUmbrella received an update today. Notcom, the developer, added support to the utility for the newly-released iOS 6.0.1 firmware, and both the fourth generation iPad and iPad mini…

Here’s the post from the TU blog:

“I’ve updated TU to support iOS 6 and 6.0.1. The new iPad mini and iPad 4 are also supported as well as the new iphone 4 stealth revision.

Sorry for the delay folks. I’m still working on some pretty dang well needed changes to TU. The wait will be worth it…”

It looks like Apple has quit signing iOS 6, so it’s too late to save your blobs for that firmware. But we recommend having SHSH backups for all devices and iOS versions, so make sure to grab your 6.0.1 blobs as well.

Apple release ios 6 , are you ready to upgrade your phones?

Apple's new operating system iOS 6 is out today for iPhones and iPads.
The update is rolling out slowly, probably to save Apple's servers from going down.
iOS 6

You may feel a little bit slow when you try to download it. Make sure backup everything before you update.
It is said iOS 6 was set to bring more 200 features to all Apple devices, including it's own sub-par Maps app.

It's easy to download iOS 6.
Now you can download iOS 6 like me.
From your Apple device's home screen, tap the "Settings" app.
Next tap "General", and towards the top you'll see an option for "Software Update".
Tap "Software Update" and then you will see an option to install.
Accept the terms of agreement and your device will verify the update.
Make sure you have your device connected to WiFi and plugged into a power source.

All Devices iOS 6 is compatible with:
iPhone: 3GS, 4, 4S, and 5
iPad: 2 and the new iPad
iPod touch: 4th generation and 5th generation

Remember, your Maps will now look drastically different. So, if you use the subway you may want to reconsider upgrading. This is because Apple is now using its own mapping service instead of Google Maps. And from what we're hearing it isn't' good.
But Apple's Maps do have some good features, like 3D mapping, turn by turn directions, and traffic support.
Besides Maps, Siri has also been beefed up. The virtual assistant can now tell you sports scores, book a reservation at your favorite restaurant, and let you know what movies are playing nearby.
