Google Doesn't allow Windows Phone User use the Mobile Version Google Maps, then Google's lie was exposed

Yesterday,  a lot of Windows Phone users found that they can not re-use the WP phone's built-in IE browser to access the mobile web version of Google Maps to query the map. At the first beginning people thought this may be a bug of Google, because despite maps.google.comnot open the mobile version of the website, but it can be used maps.google.co.uk this kind of local address to access.

A Google Spokesperson said:

"The mobile web version of Google Maps is optimized for WebKit browsers such as Chrome and Safari. However, since Internet Explorer is not a WebKit browser, Windows Phone devices are not able to access Google Maps for the mobile web."

First of all, it can not be explained Why maps.google.co.uk can use, and secondly, we also found that the IE browser that comes with Windows 8 system can also visit maps.google.com map service. So Microsoft spokesman gave Google a fatal blow:

A Microsoft spokesperson has responded to Google saying that:

“Internet Explorer in Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8 use the same rendering engine.”

The fact is obvious: Google banned Windows Phone's IE browser to access Google Maps mobile website makes Windows Phone users, just as they have done before, Google Sync is disabled and unable to send Gmail messages on the phone with the same purpose.

Windows 8 Returns, Apple: Are you tremble?

In September this year, Ballmer had boasted: "From now on this year, we will give the new system (Windows 8) running on 400 million new devices,it can be Windows Phone, also be a Windows tablet or PC."now Microsoft's has been completed 1% of ambitious target their.

On the Microsoft Build 2012 conference, Ballmer said that Windows 8 has sold 4 million units since its officially opened for sale on Friday. In absolute terms seems to be a good start, but think about it as a total target of 400 million mark, Microsoft still has a long way to go. The last version of Windows 7 were sold 17.5 million copies in the first year, Windows Phone 8 has not yet begun to prove himself, so it need time to test.

It is worth mentioning that the Mountain Lion, Apple's latest version of OS X operating system were sold in the same time period on sale beginning 300 million units, but think about both the user base. 3,000,000 units means that Apple's 66 million users, a 4.5% update the new system, while Microsoft is less than 0.33%, because of its 12.5 billion subscribers.
