The big changes in the new iOS 7

The head designer of the company also incorporated some interesting changes in the form of modern shades and tones of colors. Flat design is another prominent feature seen in the new iOS 7. Starting from buttons to switches to the chrome surrounding apps all has been modernized and flattened to make the phone appear bigger. It has been possible because the original design allowed each app to make better use of screen space available for it. The pleomorphic design has been replaced by the modern iOS 7's clean and flat layout, and it can be seen in the message, game center, phone, calendar, and others.

The built-in apps now feature sliding gesture based navigation, and folders can now support hundreds of apps easily. Notification center has been designed with complete control over how many notifications you can see at once. The ability to view the notification center from the lock screen has also been modified. You can drill down to the notification to have a quick view of weather, upcoming calendar events, and also traffic for the day.

The new swipe up menu has been given the name of the Control Center that gives you quick access to the most commonly used functions. It allows you to control Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, music and toggle airplane mode, brightness and more. Further, multitasking has also been upgraded with support for all apps - without affecting the battery life.

On the other hand, camera has been refreshed with improved UI, new filters and square photo framing. Apart from this, App Store, iTunes Radio, Siri, AirDrop (a new feature that lets you share your content with other iOS users through control center) and others have been upgraded smartly in the new iOS 7.
